Veneers

veneers

Veneers are a cosmetic dental procedure used to correct misshapen or chipped teeth, eliminate gaps between the teeth, and create a white, natural-looking smile. Veneers are made of porcelain and cover the front side of your teeth. Since all veneers from Paramount Dental Arts are custom-made for each patient, your veneers will be created with the exact color, shape, and size that is appropriate for your unique smile.

The process of fabricating porcelain veneers takes two appointments at our Clifton, NJ dental office. The first appointment is meant to conservatively reshape the teeth and take an impression of them for the lab to use to fabricate the veneers. You will leave our office with a set of provisional or temporary veneers to wear while to lab creates your veneers. The second appointment is where we permanently bond the porcelain veneers to your existing teeth. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied before anything is permanently bonded.

Veneers are a great, long-lasting option for your smile makeover. According to the ADA, the life expectancy for porcelain veneers is about 12 to 15 years. While veneers are stain-resistant, we may recommend that you avoid coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco to maintain the beauty of your new smile.

At Paramount Dental Arts we want to make sure you are truly comfortable with any procedure. We will try to accommodate you as best as possible by answering all your questions, or even by creating a complimentary diagnostic wax-up of your teeth.
